Hope VALOR Program for Veterans

At Hope, we created the VALOR program so veterans can receive the specialized care they deserve. Please consider making a donation to help us continue our exceptional support for all veterans at the end of life.

National Partner: We Honor Veterans

Hope is pleased to partner with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) program "We Honor Veterans". By recognizing the unique needs of America’s veterans, Hope can guide them toward a more peaceful ending.

Recognition Package
A special recognition package, including an appreciation certificate, lapel pin, and veteran bear honors veterans for their service to our country. Every certificate is customized with the veteran's name and branch of military service.

veteran   Hope Honor Guard Presentation
The recognition package is presented by special Hope Volunteers, known as the Honor Guard (pictured). Hope’s Honor Guard volunteers are U.S. veterans or supporters and are trained to assist and support their fellow veterans in Hope's care. Read a feature story on the Honor Guard.
Veteran’s History Project

We facilitate the “Veteran’s History Project” through the Library of Congress. The project collects and archives personal recollections of US wartime veterans to honor their service and share their stories with current and future generations.
