Hands of Hope

Patient care volunteers are the Hands of Hope. Whether holding a hand, offering a hug or just listening, Hands of Hope Volunteers are anywhere patients and their families are found.

As one volunteer said, “My Hands of Hope experience has given life a whole new meaning. I benefit from this every bit as much as the patient does.”

Caring for a seriously ill loved one can be very difficult. Hands of Hope volunteers provide caregivers and patients with a much needed break.

Research has found that caregivers who allow themselves to receive help, experience less stress and report overall better physical and psychological health.
